Only $15 per Notary!
Does your loved one need a document notarized but have difficulty leaving their nursing home, assisted living community, senior living facility, or rehabilitation center?
Cheri's Notaries provides mobile nursing home and assisted living notary services throughout Redlands and the Inland Empire.
I'll come directly to the signer, making the process easier for residents, families, caregivers, attorneys, and facility staff.
Same-day and after-hours appointments may be available.

Residents may need a notary for many different types of documents, including:
Powers of Attorney
Durable Powers of Attorney
Trust documents
Deeds
Affidavits
Advance Health Care Directives
Estate planning documents
Real estate documents
Authorization forms
Other documents requiring notarization
Please have the documents prepared before the appointment. A California notary cannot provide legal advice or choose the appropriate document or notarial act for the signer.
California notary requirements still apply when a signing takes place in a nursing home or assisted living facility.
The person whose signature is being notarized must personally appear before the notary, and satisfactory evidence of identity must be provided when required.
Don't have the resident's current driver's license handy? Call me before scheduling.
Depending on the circumstances, California law may allow other forms or methods of satisfactory evidence. Let me know what identification the resident has available, and I can explain the identification requirements that apply to the notarial appointment.
A physical limitation does not necessarily mean the document cannot be notarized.
California has a specific procedure that may allow an individual who cannot write their name to sign by mark.
Additional witnesses and specific procedures are required for a signature by mark, so please tell me about the situation before I arrive.
That way, we can make sure everyone needed for the appointment is available.
Age alone does not prevent someone from having their signature notarized.
Every appointment is handled individually, patiently, and respectfully.
The signer must personally participate in the notarization. If you have concerns about your loved one's ability to communicate with the notary, provide identification, or physically sign the document, please tell me when scheduling.
My goal is to avoid unnecessary stress for the resident and their family while following California notary requirements.
You don't have to be the person signing the document to arrange the appointment.
I regularly work with:
Adult children and other family members
Caregivers
Attorneys and legal assistants
Estate planning professionals
Trustees
Social workers and case managers
Nursing home and assisted living staff
You can coordinate the appointment on the resident's behalf.
However, when it's time for the notarization, I may need to communicate directly with the signer rather than having someone else answer for them.
A little preparation can make a nursing home notary appointment much easier.
Please have the following information ready:
Resident's full name
Facility name and address
Building, floor, wing, or room number
Documents requiring notarization
Resident's identification
Number of signatures needing notarization
Contact information for the person coordinating the appointment
Facility visitor or check-in instructions
Any witnesses required for the document
Please also let me know about parking, locked entrances, security desks, visitor check-in procedures, or other special access requirements.
I believe in providing clear pricing before your appointment.
Notarization: $15 per notarized signature
A mobile travel fee applies based on the location of the facility.
Additional fees may apply for after-hours appointments, parking, extended waiting times, or special circumstances.
Send me the name and location of the nursing home or assisted living facility and I'll provide your pricing before you book.

That's okay.
I approach these appointments with patience, professionalism, dignity, and respect.
My goal is to make the notary portion of the process as comfortable and straightforward as possible for everyone involved.
Whether you're a family member trying to help a loved one, an attorney coordinating an estate planning signing, or a facility professional assisting a resident, Cheri's Notaries can come directly to the facility.
