Only $15 per Notary!
When you or a loved one is hospitalized, leaving the hospital to find a notary may not be possible.
Cheri's Notaries provides mobile hospital notary services in Redlands, Loma Linda, San Bernardino, and throughout the Inland Empire.
I come directly to the hospital so you can focus on what matters most.
Whether you're a patient, family member, attorney, social worker, case manager, or other professional coordinating documents for someone in the hospital, contact me and I'll help make the notary portion of the process as simple as possible.
Same-day and after-hours hospital appointments may be available.

Hospital notary appointments may involve documents such as:
Powers of Attorney
Durable Powers of Attorney
Advance Health Care Directives
Trust documents
Deeds
Affidavits
Estate planning documents
Authorization forms
Real estate documents
Other documents requiring notarization
Please have your documents prepared before the appointment. A California notary cannot provide legal advice or choose the appropriate document or notarial act for you.
Being hospitalized does not automatically prevent someone from having a document notarized.
California notary requirements still apply. The signer must personally appear before the notary, and satisfactory evidence of identity must be established when required for the notarization.
If the patient doesn't have their usual driver's license or identification available, please call me before the appointment.
Depending on the circumstances, California law may provide other permissible ways to establish the signer's identity. I'll let you know what may be needed for the notarial appointment.
Possibly.
Every situation is different, and illness alone does not automatically prevent a notarization.
As the notary, I must be able to communicate with the signer and complete the required notarial act. I also need to be satisfied that the person appearing before me is the individual whose signature is being notarized and that the notarization can lawfully be completed.
If you are concerned about the patient's ability to communicate, sign, provide identification, or participate in the notarization, tell me when you call.
This can save your family an unnecessary trip or mobile service fee.
A physical limitation does not necessarily mean a notarization is impossible.
California has specific requirements that may apply when someone signs by mark.
Please tell me before the appointment if the patient cannot physically write their normal signature.
Additional people or preparation may be required depending on the circumstances.
Hospital appointments can go much more smoothly with a little preparation.
Before I arrive, please try to have:
The documents ready for notarization
The signer available
The signer's identification
The patient's full name
Hospital name and address
Building, floor, and room number
Contact information for the person meeting me
Any witnesses required for the document
Visitor or security instructions
Parking information, if available
If the patient has been moved to another room or department, please let me know before I arrive.
I regularly understand that someone other than the patient may be coordinating the appointment.
That's perfectly fine.
A family member, attorney, legal assistant, social worker, case manager, caregiver, or other professional can contact Cheri's Notaries to arrange the hospital visit.
However, the signer must personally participate in the notarization.
When appropriate, I may need to communicate directly with the signer rather than having another person answer questions on their behalf.
Hospital notarizations are often unexpected.
A family may suddenly learn that a document needs to be completed before a patient is discharged, transferred to another facility, undergoes a procedure, or experiences a change in circumstances.
That's why I offer same-day hospital notary appointments when availability permits.
I also offer evening and after-hours appointments.
I'm OPEN when others are not!
Call or text me and tell me:
1. Which hospital?
2. What room or department?
3. What type of document?
4. How many signatures need notarization?
5. When do you need me there?
I'll let you know my availability and pricing before you book.
I believe in being upfront about my fees.
Notarization: $15 per notarized signature
A mobile travel fee also applies depending on the hospital's location. Fees are based on the City - not per mile. We are the most affordable notaries in town!
Additional charges may apply for after-hours appointments, parking, extended waiting time, or other special circumstances.
Call or text with the hospital location and I'll provide your pricing before the appointment.
